Is any horse, no matter how lame or smelly better than walking?

Photographs, drawings, paintings, and writings. Examinations and ruminations on the aesthetics of culture - a blindly groping reflexive stumble through the manure and kitsch-strewn fields of music, pictures, films, styles, trends, and so on - closet by closet, stone by stone, niche by niche, nit by nit, sinkhole and swamp, thorn by thorn, where we look at zombies, sheep, somnambulists, hacks, fakes, shining lights, fading lights, and sift through ashes to paint them black again, shine lights down drains and into eyes, walk in mud to track it indoors and put faces on the clouds just because there are none really there. Why we like or loathe what we do. Essences and spectres all valid. Pretty tall order, you might say. Yep! But I also warned you that this is "a blindly groping... stumble", which means that I can go lurching off in any direction at any time - I could even fall down and stay down for extended periods! Please be patient, it suits you.

All About Wobbly

My photo

bainbridge island, washington
...and the crowd dispersed like bitter crows, disappointed at having discovered that the shiny object of fascination was gone with the sun shifting – it was nothing more than a transitory reflected gleam from a nearby window... ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The uncertain wanderings of the wild nags of humor and the downhill trends of an open mind will carry one further into fields of the best grass than one can be driven by the nagging flies of serious intellect and fear. See: Don Quixote, Raoul Duke (aka Hunter S Thompson), Alfred Jarry, and even, for the sake of hay - Redmond O'Hanlon. Cheers and cheer up! Things can't possibly be any worse than they are, and if they are, you probably will never know the true extent of it! So why worry?
